Step By Step Facebook Lead Ads Integration Guide

What is Required?

To manage Facebook Lead Ads using Facebook Business Manager, make sure that you have admin access to the page you are running ads for. Also, this setting may differ for the Partners & Famous People Account.

Note: Your personal account will also reflect as it is linked with the Business Manager Account.

1. To connect Facebook Lead Ads to Appy Pie, you must click Connect Facebook Lead Ads to your favorite apps button. To do so, sign up/log into your Appy Pie and visit your access dashboard.

2. Now, select your required service and click Continue. Here, you’ll be asked to select your account and press Connect an Account button.

3. A pop window will appear that’ll ask you to enter an Email address or Phone number and Password. Later, select the page you want to use with Appy Pie Automate. Now, click the Done button followed by press OK. (Read the pop up instructions carefully)
   

4. Now, reconfirm the account and press the Continue button. Finally, fill the page and form field and press Continue to complete the integration.
   

Testing Facebook Lead Ads Form At Appy Pie Automate

Follow any of the two catered methods given below:

1. Check the test leads given by Facebook. Note: Such leads will not contain any custom field.
2. Try Facebook Lead Ads Testing tool, this will enable you to create test leads along with custom fields to test the connection at Appy Pie Automate.

Maintaining Facebook Lead Ads At Appy Pie Automate

1. If any change is made in the Facebook Lead Ads form while it is working as a Trigger app in Appy Pie Automate, then make sure to reconnect the trigger for updating the latest changes.
2. For any change in Password or permissions to access in the account, the form should be reconnected to the Appy Pie Automate integration.

Common Issues With Facebook Lead Ads At Appy Pie Automate

Appy Pie Automate is accessing my personal account, although I have a Business Manager account

Appy Pie Automate will access your Business Manager account through your personal account, thus it will require the authorization for making the integration work properly with Facebook Lead Ads.

Appy Pie Automate integration is not working - My New Leads Are Unavailable

If you are unable to receive the new leads through Facebook Lead Ads after integration is turned on, then this may be due to a couple of reasons.

1. Check the Accesses
   Make sure that you have proper admin authorization for the page, people account with permissions to access the lead ads form details.
2. Re-add the form
   There might be new changes in the lead ad form, re-add the form in the integration and test the integration again.
3. Re-check the testing tool for Facebook Lead Ads
   
   1. Check the lead ads testing tool page
   2. Try the page and form used in integration
   3. Click the “Preview Form”, fill the details and press “Create Lead”
   4. Now test the integration at Appy Pie Automate

Note: Delete the old leads if you have already used this tool and try again.

I am unable to check my existing leads for Facebook Page in Appy Pie Automate

Appy Pie Automate will not be able to check and update the integration for the leads which are available in the form prior to integration. Only new leads can be checked and updated through Appy Pie Automate Integration.
